Re: Lee Valley

I think Robert will be coming on the 8.33 too. There may be a discount for a group of three.

Looking forward to it. Phil

Mmmm... floral deluge so far a bit underwhelming - only had offers from 5 members! Thanks to them - digital extraction recommended for the rest! If ever there was theme everyone can contribute to this has to be it...

Non-displaying members are not currently clamouring for space, so Lisa, Robert, thanks for your offers to give up your spaces but please go ahead and refresh your displays when you can manage it. Rob (Price) are you still interested in taking over the square frames bequeathed to us by Roger? Finally...

Re: Slice Watch

Just a reminder to members who have individual displays at the Slice, that our policy is to refresh our displays every 3-4 months with an absolute maximum of 6 months. This is part of our deal with Lagi, the Slice owner, who charges us nothing for the space but does like to give his customers a cons...

GD6 - Light Play - was hung on 29 March, so is due for renewal. The theme for GD7 is Garden Flowers , which can include shots from the Club visit to the Columbia Road Flower Market, but members who were not able to take part in that outing can have no excuse for not contributing a shot or two of flo...

Re: Slice Group Display

GD6 - Light Play was hung today. We had eight contributors - Jim, Joe, Lisa, Michele, Colin, Rob, Richie and myself. Thank you - a very attractive display. I am not 100% sure I have attributed the images to the correct authors - was relying on memory at the time of hanging. Will recheck and correct ...

Re: Flower Market and Victorian Cemetery

Just a quick follow up to my note about new member Rob Price's exhibition at the Gosfield Shopping Village. I went there today and can recommend it as an enjoyable outing - not just for the exhibition, which is excellent, but for the collection of antique and craft shops there and good tearoom. The ...

Re: Flower Market and Victorian Cemetery

A couple of shots from Columbia Road on Sunday.

A reminder that I shall be going to see Rob Price's exhibition at the Gosfield Shopping Village on Saturday, leaving Colchester at 3.30 - if anyone wants a lift?

Regarding Rob Price's images from this week's meeting, they can be seen on the forum even though they don't show on the email. Click on the link in the email. I plan to go and visit his exhibition in Gosfield Shopping Village on Saturday 2 March. I'll be leaving Colchester at around 3.30 if anyone w...

Re: Re February Practical sessions

Thanks Michele. I may be wrong but my impression is that the area where buses park at Newbury Park station is not the car park. The car park is accessed down a road to the right immediately after the station main entrance (coming down the A12 from Colchester) i.e behind the station. I don't think bu...

Re: Re February Practical sessions

Regarding Sunday, does everyone know what you said Michele about parking at Redbridge rather than Newbury Park? Regarding the meeting this week, Rob Price, (not yet a member - but intending to join - so not yet on the forum) sent a message and some shots: Just a note to say I really enjoyed last nig...
