Well done Joe!

I will try and pop in soon and see the latest display and Michele's new flower images.

Phil - mine are very out of date now. Do you want me to replace them or do you have someone that would like to exhibit in my place?

Joe today replaced the four images he had on display and which were sold recently. So his new architectural display is looking good.

Bruce was also there today at the hanging party, with his own four framed images to hang alongside Michele's orchids, replacing the last three of Trevor's original five images. Unfortunately Bruce had a problem with the little 'coat hanger' hooks which his frames were supplied with - they were simply too flimsy to bear the weight of the frames. So, frustratingly, Bruce had to delay his hanging. Joe kindly came to the rescue and has taken away the frames to fix them with something a bit more substantial. Hopefully before very long Bruce's images will be gracing the Slice wall.

And here they are: Bruce's four images of tigers and aircraft finally made it onto the the Slice wall. Joe fixed a secure wire on each and this afternoon I completed the hanging. Phil

Another sale! Jim sold one of his photos yesterday. Well done Jim. Will you be able to replace it soonish? If not I'll try to put up a little notice to say 'soon to be replaced' just to fill the empty space.

Joe - I noticed your four images are all anonymous. Shall I add the missing name?

I am unsure when I may get in to replace a picture Phil, I believe Ian may try in a week or so but probably best to place a notice as you've suggested.
Happy to have actually sold one 😁

Just a reminder to members who have individual displays at the Slice, that our policy is to refresh our displays every 3-4 months with an absolute maximum of 6 months. This is part of our deal with Lagi, the Slice owner, who charges us nothing for the space but does like to give his customers a constantly changing display. So please do ensure that you refresh your display regularly.

Members who do not currently have photos on display and who would like to do so, please contact me and we'll make sure a space can be found for you.

Hi Phil
I am in the process of sorting 3 new pictures for slice. I hope to have these done within the week. I will also find a photo from the market for you.

I don’t have any photos ready to replace the four I have on display so I will try to get into Colchester in the next week or so to take mine away if anyone has pictures ready to hang.

Hi Phil,
I am happy for someone else to have a turn in my slot; please let me know if there are any takers.
Otherwise I will organise some new photos.

Non-displaying members are not currently clamouring for space, so Lisa, Robert, thanks for your offers to give up your spaces but please go ahead and refresh your displays when you can manage it.

Rob (Price) are you still interested in taking over the square frames bequeathed to us by Roger?

Finally a reminder to all non-displaying members that you are entitled to a space at the Slice to display some of your own work. Please contact me when you are ready.

Hi Phil,
I must admit, I’d totally forgot about this. What size are the frames? I’ll have a look and see what I can do.
