Ideas for 2017/18 meetings

Post by Lisa » Wed Nov 16, 2016 5:43 pm

Hi Folks,
Would you like to have a think about next year's programme and post some ideas here.

We welcome ideas on:-
Monthly themes
Photoshoots
Practical sessions
Techincal sessions

This year we have decided to limit suggestions from individuals on monthly themes to 3 only.

For new members, this is where we ask for recommendations for speakers and ideas for practical sessions, themes and photoshoots (for non-Wednesdays too) for the following year so please feel free to submit your suggestions here. The committee will then look at the preferred options for incorporating into next year's program.

My suggestion for a photoshoot is Maldon/Heybridge/Blackwater barges.
I'm still thinking about subjects for themes.

Another suggestion for next year.
Amanda and I saw these images for sale on the South Bank in London the other day - thought we could do something similar...

Hi Lisa just had a look at the programme and we have review of Ely images both in September and October. I think October should be review London Night Shoot images?

Hi Trevor,
I may be going bonkers but I have the visit to Ely in September and the review of those images in October along with other Architecture images.
October has the London NIghtshoot trip but we plan to review these images in Feb along with other night/moonlight images so that members that didn't attend the London Night photoshoot had all winter to take some other night or moonlight images.
November I had Rust plus Phil's LR session. My notes tied up with Colin's??

Hi Lisa yes i see the trips are when you say but the monthly meetings for review of images has review of Ely Cathedral in both September and October?
I've copied whats on the programme below.

20th September Theme - Through the Window plus view Ely Cathedral images
14th October Photoshoot - Night Photography in London
18th October Theme - Architecture plus view Ely Cathedral images

I thought we were reviewing Ely Images in October to tie Architecture and Ely cathedral together?
