Re: Frinton Beach Light Painting

Great images from the "Frinton Night Out". Here are my best efforts although I'm ashamed to admit I got the exposure wrong for most of them!. I heard someone say that it was too windy for burning wire otherwise I would have stayed longer. Had to get rid of Richie's legs (sorry Richie) and Trevor's h...

Adobe Creative Cloud Announcement

For those of you using PS CC (and maybe LR CC) Adobe has announced that all future releases of CC programs will not support older operating systems. They name these as W8.1, W10 v1511 and W10 v1607 and Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan). They say all past and present versions of CC will continue to work on t...

Re: August practical session.

Hi, I can bring a canon flash and two flash extension cables; 1 about a metre coiled and one several metres uncoiled. I can also bring a white mount board and also a white plastic sheet as backgrounds + some coloured paper as per GH video. Perhaps we should bring some mopping up materials? Towel/kit...

Re: Free A1 Epson Stylus printer

Just another comment on this.... I don't know of any club locally that has permanent space that is clean enough to house printer and media like this one. Colchester, Chelmsford and a couple of others all book space as and when in halls etc. James might be able to off-load it ( if that's the right ex...

Re: Free A1 Epson Stylus printer

I think you should take a look at a site run by Keith Cooper who has a review of this printer. His site is http://www.northlight-images.co.uk Things to note: It is a big as a large armchair and is on its own castor's. It weighs about 60 kilos Probably needs to be on a ground floor. It is discontinue...

Cheap canon 5DIII

Hi,
SiliconAlley,a computer retailer in Maldon have a 5DIII for sale new as BDS which means Box Damaged Stock. Looks like a genuine offer at £1299. They often have BDS "new items" for sale. I've used them before and I think Kate has.

Re: Digby Gallery Exhibition 2016 (Mercury Theatre)

Hi All, At the AGM last night we decided via a vote of those present not to take up the offer of the Digby gallery because it is too short notice given the organising required and it would start (with probably new(er) images) almost straight after the end of the library exhibition and run for less t...
