Re: Slice Watch

Hi Phil,
I am happy for someone else to have a turn in my slot; please let me know if there are any takers.
Otherwise I will organise some new photos.

Re: Next Year's Programme

Some great ideas coming in! One thing I'd like to know more about is pros & cons of using big (large aperture lenses). Would anyone like to give a talk on use of lenses? books on photographic impact etc.

I'd like to get an authoritative book on what makes a good photograph -
style, impact all that sort of thing.

Does anyone have any suggestions of favourites?

Re: June practical- water, oil shots etc

Thanks for the variety of comments on my image. I do like a bit of complexity! I'm generally more interested in why someone captured an image, or found an image satisfying than I am about how the image was taken, though I continue to be impressed by the sheer technical quality of may of the images p...

Re: June practical- water, oil shots etc

Re: The Slice Gallery Permanent Exhibition

This afternoon. I put up four of my photos in the Slice. They are next to Graham's pictures; there is still space for perhaps 4 more photos on the same wall. Here are my pics:
