Crumpler camera bag for sale

I'm going to put my beloved Crumpler camera bag on Ebay unless if any members would like it for £10. I've upgraded to exactly the same model but a bigger version. The one I have for sale fits a dlsr with zoom plus another lens and there is a pocket for all other bits and pieces. As I like to take my...

Retrospective images for December's meeting

As per the last few years, we propose to show members' retrospective images in a slideshow during December's meeting. Therefore, I would be most grateful if you could send me your retrospective images taken in the past year i.e. images that have been shown at a meeting, taken specifically for one of...

Update of website images

Hi guys, It seems that the website and forum are working ok at their new home. I would therefore now like to freshen the website with some new images from our current members so if any members have any images they would like to supply that are suitable for cropping to a letterbox shape, I would love...

Re: Nikon accessories for sale.

Hi Trevor,
Yep, all of them. I had an 82mm lens and bought that size filters but traded it in for a 77mm replacement. Although I use stepping rings, they're a pain and always intended to get replacements. Also have other lens sizes and stepping rings the mix looks a good match.

Re: Frinton Beach Light Painting

Lovely photo Lisa, even more disappointed that I couldn’t make it. The tooth can be saved, needs a ceramic crown. Just a mere £600 😳 Is the meeting this Weds? Thanks Rob- the next meeting is on the 21st and the theme is In the rain . Sorry to hear about your tooth :( . Richie - you got some good on...

Re: Frinton Beach Light Painting

Thank you Richie and Trevor for last night. I enjoyed it - despite the cold wind.

I have some photoshopping to do to hide Richie's legs on some but the ones of Chelsea, I didn't really have to edit much so here's an example.

Re: Heybridge Basin and canal boats

I'll still get there for 9 as car parking is limited. There is a free car park (I assume that's where we are meeting) but this time of year it fills very quickly. OK 9:00am to be on the safe side for parking it is (sorry Bruce). The carpark is called Daisy Meadows and it is free with 140 spaces. Sc...

Aargh. 9:00 am. I probably won’t be there until 9:30 as it will take me about 1 hour to get there 5E1F8108-1F49-40EE-9FCB-FB42D06816AD.jpegbut I can always look out for some shifty looking characters with cameras!
Shall we say 9:30am instead? I just pulled 9:00 out of the air.

Re: Heybridge Basin and canal boats

I haven't been to Heybridge Basin before so have been Googling. There is a car park called Daisy Meadow where we could meet which is near a pub and a cafe. It seems we could walk north towards the sailing club where there is a ship wreck or the other way along the canal. The high tide is at 11.47am....

The 14th of July is the date that most members can make, so let's go for that. I'll get back in touch later with times and other details.
