Friendly atmosphere

Joining our group is a great way to develop your photography skills, to meet like-minded enthusiasts, learn from their experience, be inspired by the variety and quality of photographs presented by group members and guest speakers.

Members enjoy a friendly atmosphere with a varied and stimulating programme of practical help, creative sessions, quality speakers and photo shoots.

Our membership currently stands at around 25. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to pop along to a meeting free of charge before deciding whether to join. Please contact our membership secretary for more details. Membership costs £30 a year (reviewed annually).

Where & When

Meetings are held once a month in the Oyster Room at the Hythe Community Centre, Colchester. Parking is available free of charge behind the building. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday evening of the month, all year round, and start at 7:30pm and finish around 9:30pm.
